Reach Out
Repeatedly throughout the Bible we are encouraged not forget the widows and orphans...indeed this is what James tells us is "pure and undefiled religion." Jr. Highers join us as we put on a dinner theater this Christmas season for those in the church that need to be reminded that they haven't been forgotten, both by believers and most importantly by Christ. Sign ups have begun so don't miss out, we need your help!

Parachutes for Columbia
Awesome opportunity to do something fun for Christ...there is a guy in Columbia who flys into the jungle and drops parachutes down to people who live in an extraordinarily persecuted part of this world. Attached to each parachute is a bag containing all kinds of Gospel literature and other things that the Colombians might need, the bummer is that he is out of parachutes...this is where you come in. Grab a template form us on Sunday or Wed. and make him a parachute. Supper easy and fun way to help the persecuted churches. We have everything that you will need except the main portion of the parachute which can simply be made out of an old bed sheet or something similar. With the template are complete directions. Don't miss out and let us know if you have any questions. The deadline to have them back to us is Sunday October 19th. May God bless what you put your hands to!

Family Beach Day
For those of you that think gray hair is funny don’t forget that you too will probably have it one day. Truly though, the Bible says that white hair is like a crown of wisdom. I want to encourage you as cool as you think your parents are or are not know that God gave you parents to help you become who He wants you to be. Please go to them and listen to them…they are smarter than you think.
ARISE 2008 Summer Camp
ARISE 2008 Summer Camp - Truly there are no words in any language to define what God did at camp. I have never been so encouraged and amazed at what God is doing and will continue to do through the youth of this nation. Remember that "Arise" the title of camp, was not the theme but the result...it is time to arise as a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, may you never forget what the Lord did in your life this week. He will never leave you nor forsake you...ever.

If you missed out make sure and read Eph. 4:29 "Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers." Cody gave an awesome devotion on how we are to build each other up...so lets do it! If you didn't make i you were missed, make sure to sign up for the next one!!! May God bless and direct your steps.

God has truly shed His grace on this country and our prayer is that He will continue to do so.
In order to continue receiving His blessings, it is necessary that we pray for our country and its leaders. If you love this land and desire to see it revived and healed, I personally ask that you join me on Friday, July 4th at 9:00AM to devote an hour to prayer. I would love to see this church as a whole gather together to seek the Lord’s help for our nation.
We will have multiple “altars of prayer” throughout the sanctuary covering a broad range of concerns during this sacrificial hour of prayer. For those of you who are physically able, we will begin a 24-hour fast Thursday morning, July 3rd in preparation for prayer on Friday morning. I ask you to involve your children, neighbors, and all those who would like come and pray. Let’s make this a priority; to pray and intercede for this country like never before!
Pastor Jack
“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. As you make your requests, plead for God’s mercy upon them, and give thanks. Pray this way for kings and all others who are in authority, so that we can live in peace and quietness, in godliness and dignity.” - I Timothy 2:1-2
