Hey everyone! For all of you who didnt make it to our Capture the Flag event, you definitely missed out! We had a blast playing some basketball, football, a relay race eating some grub, and finishing it off with Capture the Flag! One of the highlights during the day was the Girls vs. Guys basketball game. Pastor Joey and Matt Pendleton were helping out the girls on this one, and guess what - guys, do you know what time it is? it is slave time, because you just got owned! - the GIRLS won! And I am also proud to say that our team won the first game of Capture the Flag and the second ended in a draw! We want to say sorry to Lindsay, as she broke her ankle on this event. Keep her in your prayers! Well the next time we have a Capture the Flag event, you wont want to miss out!

HE IS RISEN INDEED!
Luke 24:1-7 "Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. 2 But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. 3 Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. 5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, 7 saying, 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.'"
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most important detail in our Christian faith. If Jesus just died on the cross and did not rise again, that would cause him to be just like any other"spiritual leader" that lived and died. This is what separates Him from anyone else. He not only died in our place, but He rose again conquering sin and death for us. For anyone who may doubt the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, here is a list of recorded appearances of Jesus after His Resurrection:
· To Mary Magdelene (Mark 16:9)
· To several other women (Matthew 28:1-10)
· To Simon Peter (Luke 24:34)
· To Cleopas and another person (Luke 24:13-35)
· To ten of the eleven apostles (Thomas was not there) and others who were present (Luke 24:33-40)
· To all eleven of the apostles (John 20:26-27)
· To some of the disciples (John 21:1-23)
· To the eleven apostles (Matthew 28:16-20
· To his half-brother James (1st Corinthians 15:7)
· To the apostles (Luke 24:50-52)
· To more than 500 witnesses at the same time (1st Corinthians 15:6)
· At the Ascension (Acts 1:3-12)
· To the apostle Paul (Acts 9:1-9)
· To Stephen (Acts 7:55)
· To Paul (Acts 22:17-18)
· To Paul (Acts 23:11)
· To John (Revelation 1:12-18)
"If you were to call each of the witnesses cited in the New Testament to be cross-examined for 15 minutes, and you went around the clock without a break, it would take you from breakfast on Monday until dinner on Friday to hear them all. Would nearly 129 straight hours of eyewitness testimony make you more likely to believe that Jesus came back to life? Why or Why not?"

God's Friday
Isaiah 53:1-12 "Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? 2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him,There is no beauty that we should desire Him. 3 He is despised and rejected by men,A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. 4 Surely He has borne our griefsAnd carried our sorrows;Yet we esteemed Him stricken,Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,And by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way;And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,So He opened not His mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment,And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. 9 And they made His grave with the wicked — But with the rich at His death,Because He had done no violence,Nor was any deceit in His mouth.10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin,He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. 11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,For He shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,Because He poured out His soul unto death,And He was numbered with the transgressors,And He bore the sin of many,And made intercession for the transgressors."

Door Hangers - Why Jesus?
On Saturday, March 15 we took 14 youth and 4 leaders to a few Corona neighborhoods to pass out Door Hangers for the Passion Week Services. We have estimated that we passed out a total of 1600-1800 doorhangers in those neighborhoods. What a blast we had running from house to house inviting literally thousands of people to the services for Passion Week. For those of you that were a part of this event, thank you so much for your help. It is our prayer this week that the Lord will use those flyers to spark an interest in many people's lives to come to the services this week.

Steadfast Winter Camp
1 Cor 15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."
What a weekend we had at our annual Jr High Winter Retreat! I pray that all of you who went were extremely challenged, encourage, and blessed! What an opportunity we had to get away for a weekend and to sit at the feet of Jesus and lay our lives before Him and ask Him to work in our hearts. As we discussed what the word STEADFAST meant to us in our walks with the Lord, we learned that in our walks with the Lord, we are going to encounter many different situations in our lives. We are going to go through Good Times & Dry Times. We are going to face Temptations & Trials. We are going to have to deal with Sin, Failure, and then experience the Grace of God. And we were finally challenged to GO LIVE IT! May each of you never forget what the Lord did in your heart on that weekend and may you continue to live a STEADFAST life in Jesus!
We love you guys and are continuing to pray for you!
